Meet Your Attorney

Born in Union City, New Jersey to Cuban Immigrants, Barbara M. Rodriguez recognized the struggles and respected the sacrifices made by immigrant parents so that their children could live a life full of freedom and opportunities.  It was this first-hand experience that inspired her to strive to represent her heritage by working with the Hispanic community from the beginning of her career.  Attorney Rodriguez was the first member of her family to attend college and graduate from a University.  Graduating from Western State University, Fullerton California in 1989 represented the beginning of a dream all immigrant parents long for: To see their children take advantage of the opportunities they did not have, witness them develop a better life than they had and observe as they share their talents and blessings with others.

Upon obtaining her license, Attorney Rodriguez immediately began to work as a sole practitioner in the City of Glendale, CA in the area of Personal Injury Law.  As a past member of the Los Angeles Trial Attorneys Association and the Consumers Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, she has litigated and represented thousands of claimants over the past 30 years.  She is most proud of representing a variety of cases from the most minor to very significant to the unfortunate cases of wrongful death. Attorney Rodriguez is authorized to practice before the Supreme Court of the State of California, the Federal District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

“Everyone deserves the right to have a legal advocate on their side.  When the value of a claim is considered insignificant in the eyes of other attorneys, I will take the case.  What may seem small for them is an enormous problem in the lives of my clients.  I cannot walk away from helping others right a wrong.  It’s just not in my DNA.” Barbara M. Rodriguez.

Several years later Attorney Rodriguez began her journey in the complex area of Immigration Law and for the past 20 years prides herself in the special connection she has with immigrant families and individuals who find themselves tangled in the web of the most controversial issue in the United States, immigration.  Speaking the language, understanding the cultures and being sensitive to their struggles allows her to convey an element of trust that client’s recognize and appreciate. As a current member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association she keeps current in this ever changing and challenging area of the law.

“It is an honor to work with families that are pursuing the same dreams my parents had and an even greater sense of satisfaction to walk by their sides as they reach their goals of obtaining legal status in the United States.”  Barbara M. Rodriguez
